Wellness Workshop

Have you been finding yourself exceedingly overwhelmed during the COVID-19 crisis? Have all of your coping skills been stripped away due to the “Stay-Home” order and you notice yourself becoming more stressed and anxious? Join Kevana Nixon, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and Blair Chase, Board Certified Art Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor, as they facilitate a virtual wellness workshop. Here, you will learn how to: identify new stressors due to COVID-19, develop new coping skills, and learn about art therapy and its therapeutic benefits. In addition, you will be able to partake in an art therapy experiential to learn how to enhance overall feelings of happiness as you try and navigate through your “new normal.

SUPPLY LIST: For the art therapy portion, please have a piece of black paper (if accessible) and whatever drawing materials are available such as colored pencils or markers.
