Ways to Support BADG
D&D Building “A Celebration of Black Art+Design”
The Black Artists and Designers Guild was created to build a more equitable and inclusive industry for independent Black artists, makers, and designers in creative industries. This entails bringing exposure and visibility to its 300 global members, honoring the African ancestral legacy in design, celebrating black excellence and culture, and providing educational resources to the next generation of black artists and designers.
The design industry is built on creativity, collaboration — and above all, optimism. We have a great belief in the importance of knowledge and nurturing intellectual exploration to create deep and lasting beauty.
Your tax-deductible gift makes it possible for us to present the work of BADG members to a wider audience and cultivate the next generation of black artists and designers.
We welcome the community to join and support us in creating an inclusive design narrative and #BuildwithBADG!

BADG Obsidian Project Fund
The BADG Obsidian Project is a virtual house in the hills of Oakland, California (part of the greater Silicon Valley footprint). Using an actual site, the virtual structure is set in the year 2025, designed by BADG-Creators. LEARN MORE
While this fund will address current needs and allow us to provide a high quality virtual online experience, we are also using this as an opportunity to secure important resources for the future, ensuring that our community can create additional spaces digitally, if necessary, while also utilizing cutting-edge technological tools in design.
Mission Fund
Building a solid mission fund is key not only to BADG’s financial stability, but also to supporting our efforts to build a more equitable and inclusive industry for independent Black artists, makers, and designers in creative industries. The Mission Fund provides unrestricted financial resources to support BADG’s day-to-day operations, providing infrastructure and support services that are vital to members' success.
